What is Interpol?
The International Criminal Police Organization is an international police organization. Among these words, Inter (Inter) of International (Inter) and Polish (Pol) word Interpol (Interpol) have been created.
It is an organization that has nothing to do with politics, religion, caste. The number of members is more than one hundred countries in the world. Currently, Yugoslavia is the only member of the communist countries. Headquartered in Paris, France.
Police’s job is to catch criminals. However, if the criminal after his misdeeds goes beyond his own country and reaches another foreign country, then the country’s police will not be able to chase him. Later in Europe, especially in Germany and Austria, the number of crimes increased greatly. The main reason for this is that the economic system and social system of these two countries were completely destroyed due to the defeat of the two countries. To address such a situation, Vienna (capital of Austria) police chief Johann Schober held a meeting with the police chiefs of several countries in 1923 with the permission of his government. Then Nazi Germany invades Austria – Interpol rises. Then the Second World War (1939-1945) began, and it was impossible for either country to turn its attention to the other side. It moved to Paris, the capital of France, as it was not convenient to have its headquarters in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
According to the Interpol rules, a country can obtain help from another country in four ways: (1) Arrest and repatriate the fugitive criminal. (2) To monitor the offender and his activities without repatriation. (3) Tell the whereabouts of the smugglers. (4) If the dead body of a foreigner is not identified, send the details thereof.
